Ramban: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, Saturday chaired a meeting of officers to review functioning of the Revenue Department and progress on the rationalization of Patwar Halqas and Girdawar Circles across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shokat Hayat Mattoo; SDM Banihal, Mohammad Naseeb Bajran; SDM Gool, Imtiaz Ahmed; SDM Ramsoo, Sayad Mazahir Hussain Shah; besides Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other Revenue officials.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the public services being provided by the Revenue Department and conducted a tehsil-wise assessment of the ongoing rationalization exercise. He directed the officers to expedite the process and submit comprehensive reports within the stipulated time frame.
The DC emphasized to carry out the rationalization of Patwar Halqas and Girdawar Circles strictly in accordance with the prescribed norms to ensure efficient and accessible services delivery. He further impressed upon officers to maintain accuracy, transparency and accountability while undertaking the exercise so that the reorganization facilitates improved accessibility and better services delivery for the people across the district.
