Jammu : Member of Parliament Gulam Ali Khatana has expressed strong support for the National Investigation Agency’s approval of the Baisaran Cable Car Project in Pahalgam, viewing it as a significant advancement for tourism, local employment, and international visitor attraction in Jammu and Kashmir.
MP Khatana acknowledged the contributions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in promoting peace, development, and sustainable tourism in the region. The eco-friendly cable car is set to enhance accessibility between Baisaran and Pahalgam, which Khatana believes will invigorate the homestay culture, create job opportunities, and promote Kashmir’s traditional hospitality.
