Srinagar| Oct,30 : Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has dismissed two government employees for their involvement in terrorism-related activities.

In a statement an official spokesman said on Thursday Gh. Hussain, a teacher from Reasi district, was found to be in constant communication with designated terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and was tasked with establishing an Over Ground Worker (OGW) network to support LeT operations. He was also implicated in collecting and delivering terror funds to the families of known terrorists and distributing parcels sent from across the border.

Similarly, Majid Iqbal Dar, a teacher from Rajouri district, was identified as an associate of LeT. He was directed by a terrorist handler based in Pakistan to retrieve an improvised explosive device (IED) and cash from a concealed location in the Dassal Forest. Dar’s actions included transporting and planting the IED near a local bank, aiming to inflict civilian casualties and instill fear in the community, all in exchange for rewards from terrorists in the form of narcotics and financial support.
