The event was held in the Auditorium of Government Degree College, under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma.

The festival brought together talented youth from across the Educational Zones of the district, showcasing their skills and imagination in diverse competitions, including Declamation, Story Writing, Painting, Folk Dance, Folk Song, Poetry Writing and Innovation (Science Exhibition).

Each event resonated with the vision of “Viksit Bharat”, highlighting the creativity, confidence and potential of India’s younger generation.

The event was graced by District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jaffer Haider Sheikh along with departmental officials and cultural enthusiasts.

In his address, Jaffer Haider Sheikh commended the participants for their enthusiasm and talent, emphasizing the vital role of such platforms in nurturing innovation, artistic excellence and cultural identity among the youth.

He also appreciated the dedication of the field staff, officers and officials for their meticulous coordination and spirited efforts in organizing the grand festival.

A panel of esteemed judges, drawn from reputed academic and cultural institutions, evaluated the performances and identified outstanding participants who will now represent District Kishtwar at the upcoming Divisional-Level Youth Festival.

The event not only celebrated the rich cultural diversity of the region but also reflected the department’s steadfast commitment to empowering young minds through holistic development—blending art, culture, science and innovation in the spirit of national progress.
