Srinagar: National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Tuesday cancelled the summon issued to Syed Naseem Geelani, son of Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani.
Naseem was scheduled to appear “as a witness” before the NIA Tuesday and was already in Delhi to appear before the agency, reports said.
No reason was given for the cancellation of the summon.
“NIA cancelled my appearing at its New Delhi headquarters which was scheduled Tuesday. Alhamdulilah,” Naseem wrote on Facebook.
