Police Commemoration Day: Police organises badminton championship in B’pora

Srinagar : On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, J&K Police on Tuesday organised a Badminton Championship under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024–25. The event, held at the Indoor Sports Stadium, DPL Bandipora, witnessed enthusiastic participation from young athletes from across the district, who competed in both Singles and Doubles categories, showcasing remarkable skill, talent, and sportsmanship.
The championship was graced by SSP Bandipora Ajaz Ahamd Zargar, who attended as the Chief Guest accompanied by ADC BandiporaZafar Hussain Shawl. In his address, the SSP Bandipora commended the initiative, encouraged the youth to strive for excellence, remain disciplined, and contribute positively to society through hard work and character. The event was also attended by other senior officers of Bandipora Police.
