During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of road safety works approved under the District Road Safety Plan, which are being executed by the PWD and PMGSY Divisions of Ramban and Banihal and other departments. The Executive Engineers of both divisions, along with NHAI representatives, presented detailed status reports of ongoing and completed works.

The meeting emphasized compliance with the SCCoRS guidelines, highlighting the need to minimize road accidents, fatalities and injuries, especially in the vulnerable areas.
