Jammu | : The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, Monday organized the Inter-Collegiate Hockey (Men) Tournament 2025–26 at K.K. Hakku Stadium, Jammu. The match played between PG Department, University of Jammu and GDC Poonch, the PG Department team registered a resounding victory by 8–0 goals.
Sukhchinder Singh, Captain of the team, scored three goals in the 12th, 37th, and 60th minutes of the game. Yugeshwar Rudar also scored three goals in the 18th, 50th, and 57th minutes. Sahil Kumar netted two goals in the 45th and 54th minutes.
Ajay Gupta, Manager, K.K. Hakku Stadium Jammu, was the Chief Guest of the match and was introduced to the players of both teams prior to the start of the game.
The match was officiated by Karanjit Singh, Mr. Koushal Sharma, Rishiv Sharma, Harinderpal Singh, Harvinder Singh, and S.P.D. Singh. Among those present on the occasion were Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Dr. Mahak, Ravinder Singh, and Richa Mandla.
