Shopian |: The Sewa PARV-2025 campaign in Shopian continued Wednesday with diverse activities across education, social welfare, and agriculture sectors, reflecting the district’s commitment to service and community welfare.
At GDC Zainapora, students and faculty members took a Swachhta Pledge, followed by an awareness lecture on mental health and hygiene.The day concluded with a cleanliness drive on the campus, reinforcing the values of personal well-being and collective responsibility.
The Social Welfare Department held an awareness programme at Sedow, informing citizens about various welfare initiatives and schemes aimed at providing social and financial support to vulnerable sections of society along with registration of beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments engaged directly with farmers. At Zone Keegam, an awareness programme was conducted, where technical guidance was provided to orchardists on improved cultivation practices.
In addition, a cleanliness drive at Horticulture Zone Saidpora reflected the campaign’s twin focus on agricultural development and environmental stewardship.
Alongside these, several other departments also successfully carried out their scheduled activities under the ongoing Sewa Parv calendar, ensuring wide-scale participation across Shopian.
