Anantnag| Sept, 27: Under the Mera Resham Mera Abhiman (MRMA) initiative, the Central Silk Board–CSR&TI, Pampore in collaboration with the Sericulture Development Department, J&K  organized an Awareness Programme on Government Schemes and Convergence Opportunities at Sheikhpora, Kuthar, Anantnag.
               The programme was conducted in the P1 silkworm seed area, where participatory discussions highlighted strategies for improving the quality of P1 rearing by leveraging beneficiary-oriented components under Silk Samagra-II, HADP, and MGNREGA. A total of 40 enthusiastic farmers actively engaged in the discussions, which also covered the use of modern equipment in silkworm rearing, innovations in heating systems for high-altitude rearing and the potential of utilizing government land for mulberry plantation to ensure a sustainable supply of quality leaf.
