Samba | : In continuation to the ongoing Sewa Parv 2025, the Department of AYUSH Samba organized a comprehensive medical aid camp at DC Office, Friday. The initiative conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan and Director AYUSH J&K Dr. Suresh Sharma, exemplified the government’s unwavering commitment to providing accessible healthcare services to the community, particularly focusing on the welfare of sanitation workers and the general public.
The medical camp, supervised by District Nodal Officer AYUSH Samba Dr. Renu Dass was organized in collaboration with the Office of Assistant Commissioner Panchayat. A dedicated team of AYUSH healthcare professionals provided comprehensive medical services to Civic Workers.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the AYUSH staff, receiving detailed briefings about the functioning of various AYUSH centers across the district and the specialized services they offer to the public. Dr. Renu Dass provided extensive information about advanced treatment modalities available including Panchkarma therapy, Ksharsutra treatment and Cupping therapy highlighting the department’s commitment to holistic healthcare delivery.
Meanwhile, the Doctors at the camp conducted multiple activities including general health check-ups, free AYUSH consultations, distribution of medicines tailored to specific ailments and dissemination of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials to raise health awareness among beneficiaries.
