Udhampur | : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai Wednesday flagged off a relief van carrying essential supplies for families affected by heavy rains in the district. The relief material was provided by the Inner wheel club Udhampur to support those grappling with the aftermath of the disaster.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC lauded the community support and philanthropic initiative of the Inner wheel club Udhampur. She congratulated the members for their humanitarian contribution and emphasized that collective efforts play a vital role in alleviating the hardships of flood-affected people.
