Doda | : Government ITI Doda Monday celebrated “Skill Demo Day” by organizing “Skill Exhibition” showcasing the works of Trainees prepared during practical training in different trades & importance of Skill Training Schemes.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ashraf Parvez was the Chief Guest at the event organised under the directions and guidance of Administrative Department Skill Development Department under the aegis of Seva Pakhwada. Assistant Director Employment Rafiq Ahmed Jaral was the guest of honour.
The Superintendent of the Institute Er Naresh Singh welcomed the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour and accompanied them during the inspection of the stalls of different trades showcasing the Jobs prepared by the trainees during practical work.
Later, the Superintendent gave a PowerPoint Presentation on the Skill Training Schemes run by ITI Doda including Trades of One Year/Two Year durations, besides short-term skill courses under PMKVY, PM Vishwakarma Surya Ghar, SANKALP etc.
The Chief Guest, in his address, appreciated the performance of the institution in imparting quality training to youth in different trades with a special focus on practical training.
