Bank crosses milestone of 5000+ sanction letters across J&K
Srinagar | Sept, 20: J&K Bank has actively participated in the Government’s Mission YUVA program by organizing multiple Login Day events across Jammu and Kashmir, where sanction letters were distributed to aspiring entrepreneurs. This week marked a significant milestone for the Bank, as it surpassed the distribution of 5,000 sanction letters aimed at fostering youth-led entrepreneurship in the region. Senior officials from various district administrations commended the Bank’s proactive efforts and encouraged beneficiaries to approach their ventures with innovation and dedication, aspiring to become job creators.
The Bank’s senior management on Saturday expressed gratitude to the J&K Government for its support and reaffirmed their commitment to the successful implementation of Mission YUVA. They urged young entrepreneurs to take advantage of the program’s benefits to transform their ideas into sustainable businesses. Throughout the week, eight Login Day events were held across different districts, resulting in the distribution of 356 sanction letters to new entrepreneurs. Key events included gatherings in Bandipora, Samba, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Srinagar, and Jammu, each presided over by district officials and Bank executives. These events highlighted the collaborative effort between the Bank and local administrations to empower youth and stimulate economic growth. Mission YUVA, launched by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in June 2025, aims to create 1.37 lakh enterprises and 4.25 lakh jobs over five years, with J&K Bank playing a crucial role in achieving these ambitious targets through its yuva udaan campaign initiated in July.
