Jammu/March,30: To create awareness among the artisans and un-employed youth about the schemes of J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board, KVIB organized an awareness camp under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) here Thursday.
The program was presided over by MLA, R.S. Pura, Dr. Gagan Bhagat. The advised the artisans and un-employed youth to take benefit of the schemes of KVIB and establish their units to create employment for themselves and others as well.
During the program, Executive Officer KV1B, Rowan Kumar highlighted the salient features of PMEGP. He emphasized upon the un-employed youth especially women to come forward to avail the benefit of these schemes.
Veer Bhan from KVIC impressed upon the artisans to take optimum benefit of schemes of the Board. Prominent citizens, ex-sarpanches and local youth participated in the camp.
