Srinagar : Mahant Rohit Shastri, President, Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Thursday.
He presented a Sanskrit nameplate bearing the Lieutenant Governor’s name and briefed him on the “Ghar-Ghar Sanskrit Abhiyan” (Sanskrit for Every Home campaign), an endeavour of his Trust under which Sanskrit nameplates are being installed at the public places, residences and offices of eminent personalities.
He also put forth the issue pertaining to formulation of a pre-monsoon policy for mountain pilgrimages in Jammu Kashmir.
