Srinagar : A 30-year-old man from Dara Harwan died in a road accident at Harwan market area on Friday, officials said.
Officials said that a speeding scooty overturned near Harwan market, resulting in injuries to the rider and his pillion.
He said the scooty was being driven by Bilal Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat, a resident of Dara, Harwan.
“Bilal was seriously injured and was immediately shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries during the treatment,” they said.
Meanwhile, the identity of the pillion rider is yet to be ascertained. Further details into the incident are awaited, while investigations have been taken up
