City Municipal Commr reviews preparations, announces Green-Clean City initiatives

Jammu | :  A high-level review meeting was held Tuesday under the chairmanship of Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Dr. Devansh Yadav, to finalize preparations for the Independence Day celebrations and plan various civic activities in the city.

The meeting decided that the JMC will organize a series of events featuring public awareness, environmental conservation and community participation. A major highlight of the celebrations will be a citywide plantation campaign aimed at enhancing green spaces across Jammu. The drive will involve planting trees in parks, roadside areas, government institutions, and other public spaces to promote a sustainable and eco-friendly urban environment.
