Kishtwar | : The Department of Youth Services & Sports Kishtwar Tuesday set rolling an energetic and action-packed Inter-Zonal District Level Trial-cum-Selection Cricket Tournament for U/19 Boys here on the iconic Chowgan Grounds.
This tournament aims to identify and select the most promising cricketing talent from across various zones of the district for upcoming higher-level competitions.
Young cricketers showcased their skills with passion and determination making the atmosphere electric with competitive spirit and sportsmanship.
The matches are being conducted under the guidance of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jaffer Haider Sheikh, and the close supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officers ensuring transparency and discipline in the selection process.
While addressing the participants, DYSSO Jaffer Haider Sheikh emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and fair play in sports. He encouraged the young athletes to stay focused on both physical fitness and moral values stating.
