Srinagar | : Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board and Minister of State, visited Eidgah in Srinagar to engage with local youth and sports club representatives regarding their demands for the maintenance of the playing field.
During her visit, she met with the Sports Council Authorities to discuss the leveling of the ground for sports activities, assuring the youth that their requests would be addressed. The sports representatives expressed gratitude for her prompt resolution of their concerns. Additionally, Dr. Andrabi assessed the current conditions of the Eidgah area in relation to future infrastructural plans by the Waqf Board, accompanied by the Engineering Team. Prominent local citizens also had the opportunity to meet with her. Dr. Andrabi emphasized the importance of public involvement and local cooperation in the successful execution of infrastructural projects, highlighting that developmental plans are shaped by the needs of the community.
