Bandipora: In a gesture of hospitality, the first batch of Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY) pilgrims was warmly received by a team of Bandipora district administration led by Deputy Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, as they reached Shadipora Transit Camp in Bandipora on Wednesday.
The DC was accompanied by SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh Mehta besides other civil and police officials.
On the occasion, the DC extended a warm welcome to the pilgrims by presenting garlands as a gesture of respect and goodwill. The pilgrims were also served refreshment, reflecting a hospitable and comfortable experience for the devotees.

Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various facilities including accommodation, bedding, water supply, electricity, langars and other essentials at Shadipora Yatra Transit Camp.
