Udhampur : District Administration Udhampur under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai organized a Domicile Certificate Distribution Camp under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan at Village Mandlote, Tehsil Chenani.
The camp aimed to facilitate the seamless access of tribal families to essential documents thereby enabling them to avail themselves of various government welfare schemes and benefits. The initiative under the PM-JANMAN scheme aims to bring governance to the doorstep of tribal populations residing in remote and far-flung areas.
SDM Chenani Dr Ranjeet Singh Kotwal and Tehsildar Chenani were present to oversee the proceedings and ensure smooth execution of the camp. The locals turned up in large numbers to get their domicile certificates issued.
The local community appreciated the efforts of the District Administration in bridging the documentation gap and extending timely government services.
