Pulwama : Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom, Monday chaired a comprehensive meeting at the Administrative Complex Pulwama to review the progress of registration under the JK Sehat Mobile Application across the district.
While reviewing the progress, DC stressed the need to expedite the registration process. He directed all Block Medical Officers (BMOs) to prepare a comprehensive plan to ensure timely and widespread registration under the app. He also instructed them to constitute teams and adopt a door-to-door campaigning strategy to maximise public awareness, registrations and effective use of the platform.
“Proper awareness should be created among the public through the use of IEC materials and by organizing health camps to inform people about the benefits and long-term advantages of registering on the JK Sehat platform, he said.
JK Sehat App is a one-stop digital platform designed to provide a wide range of healthcare services and information to patients, healthcare professionals, medical students, and the general public.
During the meeting, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Pulwama, presented a detailed overview of the application, highlighting its key features, user benefits, and the current status of registrations across the district.
In addition, Deputy Commissioner also issued directions to the concerned officers to ensure that adequate medical arrangements are in place across the district in view of the upcoming 10th Muharram.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Pulwama; District Health Officer, Pulwama; Block Medical Officers; and other concerned officers.
