Srinagar: The Traffic Police of Jammu & Kashmir has issued a comprehensive advisory for the Amarnath Yatra-2025, detailing cut-off timings for various convoys and yatris to ensure smooth movement.
For the Up Baltal Convoy, the departure from Jammu is set for 0400 hours, with subsequent timings from Lamber (Banihal) at 1000 hours and from Manigam Ganderbal at 1700 hours. The Down Baltal Convoy will depart from Baltal at 0600 hours and from Lamber (Banihal) at 1130 hours. For the Up Pahalgam Convoy, the departure from Jammu is at 0430 hours, with Lamber (Banihal) set for 1100 hours. The Down Pahalgam Convoy has departures from Pahalgam at 0600 hours, Nunwan at 0630 hours, and Lamber (Banihal) at 0800 hours. Non-Convoy yatris and tourists have specific cut-off timings as well, with the last vehicle from Jammu to Pahalgam needing to cross the NAVYUG Tunnel by 1500 hours and Mir Bazar by 1600 hours. Additional cut-off timings for vehicles traveling from various locations to Manigam and Baltal have been established, with specific times for last vehicles to cross key points throughout the journey. General cut-off timings indicate that no vehicles will be allowed to cross the NAVYUG Tunnel towards Kashmir after 1500 hours, and similar restrictions apply for other routes after specified times. Yatris and tourists are advised to travel within the Kashmir Valley between 0700 hours and 1800 hours to ensure they reach their destinations within this timeframe. After 1800 hours, no further movement of yatri or tourist vehicles will be permitted, and any vehicles found in violation will be directed to the nearest Yatri/SFs camp. This advisory is specifically for Yatris, Yatra Convoys, and tourists, with other vehicles advised to consult the Daily Traffic Advisory from the Traffic Police.
