SDM Khansahib visits Ziyarat Syed Soleh Khan, reviews arrangements for Annual Urs; Also visits Imambara Gatipora

Budgam : In view of the commencement of the annual three-day Urs of Hazrat Syed Soleh (RA), Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khansahib, Saturday visited the revered shrine of Ziyarat Syed Soleh Khan located in Khansahib to take stock of the arrangements made by the local administration for the smooth conduct of the religious gathering.
During the visit, SDM reviewed essential services and facilities put in place for devotees, including sanitation, drinking water, power supply, security arrangements, medical aid, and traffic management.
He directed the concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted services throughout the duration of the Urs, which attracts thousands of devotees from various parts of the district and beyond.
The annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Soleh (RA), a highly respected spiritual figure in the region, holds immense religious significance. Devotees throng the shrine to pay obeisance and participate in special prayers and spiritual gatherings. The event reflects the deep-rooted Sufi traditions and communal harmony of the area.
Following the inspection at Ziyarat Syed Soleh Khan, SDM also visited Imambara Gatipora, where he interacted with community members and reviewed the preparations and arrangements in view of the upcoming religious events there.
