Arrangements for Annual Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra 2025 finalised at Kishtwar

Kishtwar: The District Administration Kishtwar has finalized the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Annual Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra 2025, scheduled to commence on June 26, 2025.
The Holy Mace (Charri Mubarak) will arrive at Gauri Shankar Mandir, Sarkoot Kishtwar on June 28, 2025.
At a joint review meeting held Tuesday with officers from the line departments and members of the Hudh Mata Managing Committee, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan took a detailed assessment of civic amenities, logistics facilities and safety measures to ensure a hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
The DC asked for ensuring adequate supply of drinking water and provision of clean washroom facilities at Gauri Shankar Mandir, maintenance of roads en route to the Yatra, augmentation of civic infrastructure from Kishtwar to Hudh Mata Bhawan, solar lighting, medical aid, transportation facilities, deployment of additional generators (GenSets) to meet the power demands of pilgrims during the Yatra. He asked officials to encourage the pilgrims to follow safety protocols and health advisories. Provision of helicopter service was also discussed.
In response to the Hudh Mata Committee’s demand, the DC instructed SSP to ensure advanced security deployment and comprehensive surveillance during the Yatra period.
Additional arrangements discussed included Deployment of security personnel and SDRF teams to accompany the Yatra, placement of dustbins, ensuring cleanliness at all Langer (community kitchen) points, availability of ration, fuel and other essential logistics to support pilgri
The concerned officers briefed the meeting about the traffic management plan and security arrangements made to maintain order and safety throughout the pilgrimage.
The meeting was attended by SSP Naresh Singh, ADC Pawan Kotwal, Assistant Commissioner Development Kaiser Bhawani, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Idrees Lone, DFO Marwah, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineers, other senior district officers, and members of the Hudh Mata Managing Committee.
