Jammu: Deputy Commissioner, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan Saturday visited villages of Tehsil Mandal along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (Adm) to review the progress on handing over the possession of land acquired for Ring Road.
Deputy Commissioner was informed that possession of acquired land has been handed over to NHAI in villages Chak Habib, Kallian, Allorah, Sohanjana, Dondpur, Chak Sardar Desa Singh and Tehra.
Deputy Commissioner directed the Tehsildar to hand over the acquired land of remaining villages to NHAI as per the schedule provided. He further directed the Collector Land Acquisition to immediately disburse the payment of land Compensation among the land owners whose land is acquired for the Ring Road.
The entire process of handing over of land is being monitored by the team comprising of SDM North Mohd Alyas Khan ,Tehsildar South Anil Magotra Tehsildar Mandal Shafqat Hussain and concerned revenue officials .
