Pulwama: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar Friday inaugurated a New JK Bank Building and ATM at Prichoo Pulwama in presence of J&K Bank Zonal Head Pulwama and J&K Bank Cluster Head (South).
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC highlighted the importance of banking services in the area and said financial institutions play a vital role in the modern times for the socio-economic transformation of the people particularly in the rural areas. He said this Bank Branch and ATM is located near fruit Mandi so it will be easy for traders to avail the maximum benefit at their nearest.
He urged the people to avail maximum benefit of Bank and ATM especially the latest technology which had an imperative role in banking and finance. He said this is an extra mile in connecting this place under the ambit of financial inclusion.
On the occasion, locals and traders admired the DDC Pulwama and thanked Bank administration for fulfilling their long pending demand of establishing the ATM here.
