Baramulla : As part of the Government of India’s flagship initiative, a Mega Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign is scheduled to be launched in District Baramulla under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) from June 15 to June 30, 2025.
The campaign aims to saturate the delivery of 25 welfare schemes across 17 Central Ministries in identified tribal villages of the district, ensuring last-mile delivery and inclusive development.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, has urged the public, especially members of the tribal communities, to actively participate in the campaign and take full advantage of the benefits being offered under various schemes related to health, education, livelihoods, skill development, housing, and social welfare.
He emphasized that the campaign will involve intensive outreach activities, awareness drives, and on-the-spot service delivery in tribal areas, with the goal of bringing governance to the doorstep of every citizen.
The district administration has made all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth execution of the campaign in coordination with line departments and local stakeholders.
