G’bal : Residents of Wayil village in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have appealed to the authorities for the installation of a Jammu and Kashmir Bank ATM, highlighting the ongoing inconvenience of traveling to distant towns for basic banking needs.
Locals expressed their frustration over the lack of ATM facilities in the area, saying it causes significant trouble, especially in times of emergency.
“We face a lot of trouble as there is no ATM in our village,” said Raqib, a local resident.
Huzaif, another local, emphasized the impact on tourists as well. “Wayil is a frequently visited spot, and having an ATM here would benefit both residents and visitors,” he said.
The villagers have urged J&K Bank and the concerned authorities to address their demand at the earliest to ease the financial hardships .
