“Delay in the annual examination results as such won’t only delay the preparations of students for their annual examinations for next higher classes scheduled to be held in November this year but it would also delay their preparations for undergraduate NEET examination next year.
Post restoration of November Examination session in Kashmir Valley the J&K Board Of School Education (J&K BOSE) found a situational compulsion in holding this year’s annual examination in March and rolling out a roadmap for the annual examination for next higher classes in November later this year. Since students have to appear in the annual examination for their next higher classes in a short span of seven months in November this year the Education Minister Sakina Itoo had in the second week of April directed the authorities of J&K BOSE to declare results of the annual examinations conducted in March latest by April end. In view of the failure of the J&K BOSE authorities to stick to April end deadline for the announcement of examination results set by the Education Minister the students are gripped with the apprehensions of seeing the announcement of their results getting further delayed by couple of weeks. Delay in the annual examination results as such won’t only delay the preparations of students for their annual examinations for next higher classes scheduled to be held in November this year but it would also delay their preparations for undergraduate NEET examination next year. So finally delay in this year’s annual examination would finally bring under stress the NEET aspirants planning to prepare for next year’s undergraduate NEET examination. So it is not only a matter of smoothening the process of the preparations of the students for their next higher classes in November this year but it is also a matter of career for those thousands of students planning to prepare for next year’s undergraduate NEET examination.
“A fresh directive from the Education Minister to the authorities of J&K BOSE to expedite the process of evaluation for early announcement of results if issued before April end would obviously give a psychological relief to thousands of students eagerly waiting for their results and attending next higher class for completion of their syllabus in a short span of 5-6 months ahead of their annual examinations in November this year. Ultimately early announcement of annual examinations latest by first week of May would lead to successful restoration of the November session in Kashmir Valley.”
