Srinagar: Police Station Nigeen during a surprise naka checking at Ashai-bagh in Srinagar apprehended three persons namely Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Mohd Sultan resident of Batamaloo, Showket Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohd resident of Pampore & Bashir Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Panthachowk Srinagar. Demonitised currency of Rs. 1363500 ( Thirteen Lacs, Sixty three thousands & Five hundred) was recovered from their possession.
Accordingly cognizance was taken under the specified Bank Notes ACT, 2017 & further investigation was taken up.
