ADGP Armed chairs review meeting for Inter Bn & Inter Zone Sports Meet-2025

Jammu: ADGP Armed J&K Anand Jain on Saturday convened a meeting at PHQ Conference Hall Jammu to review the final arrangements put in place for the smooth and successful conduct of Inter Battalion & Inter Zone Sports meet-2025 which is being hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Police from 21st to 25th and 27th to 30th respectively, Under its Civic Action Programme (CAP).
During the meeting, the ADGP Armed took feedback from the concerned officers, assigned various jobs for smooth conduct of both the events. On spot directions were imparted upon the Officers for timely completion of the pending works/issues. ADGP Armed stressed upon the officers to take all necessary steps to make these events a mega success.
The necessary arrangements/preparations done for opening and closing ceremonies viz, sequence/ timing, category wise events, security arrangements, installation of public address System, transportation, ambulance and medical Facilities, arrangement of refreshments for the participants, accommodation for the participating teams etc were discussed and deliberated upon minutely on the occasion.
Besides, the ADGP Armed added that J&K Police has always provided opportunity for the budding players / talented youth by organizing a number of sports activities at district, range, zonal and state level under Civic Action Programme. The talent spotting should also be done from the players who are participating in both the events for which a committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Commandant IRP -19th Bn.
The ADGP emphasised, that hosting such an event is an honour for the J&K Police and we are committed to provide every possible facility during the event. He impressed upon the managing staff to put in place all possible resources for the smooth conduct of the event. He further added that this event will also be learning experience for our sports persons, and will boost their morale.
The meeting was attended by all the senior officers including Vinod Kumar DIG Armed Jammu, Shiv Kumar, , DIG JKS Range, Rajesh Sharma, SSP Sec Jammu, Fasil Qurashi, SSP Traffic Jammu, Commandants of Jammu City Based Battalions, Dr Baljeet Singh, CMO Police Hospital Jammu, and other officers.
