Lon Watters has aptly stated, “School is a building which has four walls with tomorrow inside.” The school in Kabamarg, approximately 12 km away from the main town Anantnag, serves as more than just an educational institution; it is a sanctuary of peace, personal growth, and inspiration. I had the privilege of working there for one year as a CRC Lecturer, an experience that profoundly enriched my professional journey. On the very first day, I felt a deep sense of calm and positivity. The school truly stands as an abode of peace, where learning thrives in a serene and supportive atmosphere. What makes it even more special is the shrine located nearby, which adds a sense of spiritual tranquility. Its presence brings a feeling of blessings and grace that touches everyone’s heart and soul. The infrastructure of HSS Kabamarg is another aspect that stands out.
“Last but not least, in the contemporary era, HSS Kabamarg is one of the best institutions where futures are shaped, visions are inspired, and wings are given to fly. It empowers every student to reach their full potential through holistic education, critical thinking, and strong moral values, so that students become responsible, compassionate, and lifelong learners in a present technology-driven world.”
Every facility – be it classrooms, science labs, library, or playgrounds – is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. The environment is conducive to both academic and personal development, ensuring that students and teachers have everything they need to grow and succeed. Indeed, the school provides every facility a learner could hope for – and I believe those students who receive their education at HSS Kabamarg are truly fortunate. Throughout the year, I had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with the staff members regarding pedagogical strategies, student learning, and educational challenges. These exchanges of ideas were incredibly fruitful, helping me broaden my perspective and refine my approach to teaching skills. The spirit of collaboration and professional support among the staff was truly remarkable. They are dedicated, respectful, and cooperative, exemplifying the true spirit of education. Their commitment to their work made every day a pleasant and productive experience. This school became more than just a workplace for me – it became a place of personal reflection as well as professional growth. Last but not least, in the contemporary era, HSS Kabamarg is one of the best institutions where futures are shaped, visions are inspired, and wings are given to fly. It empowers every student to reach their full potential through holistic education, critical thinking, and strong moral values, so that students become responsible, compassionate, and lifelong learners in a present technology-driven world.
