Police facilitate PCPG meeting in B’gam

Srinagar: Police in Budgam on Wednesday facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Khag.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Khag and was attended by respectable citizens including members of Market associations, Auqaf Bodies, Chowkidars, Numberdars, and other representatives of villages of Khag area which includes Sutharan, Lassipora, Drang, Poshkar, Segoun, Shuplian, Bansheran, Pethshara, Lakipora, Hamchipora, Trapy, Hamchipora etc.
During the meeting, the chairing officer gave a patient hearing to the issues of participants and assured them that their genuine issues pertaining to other departments will be taken up immediately with the concerned officers for appropriate action besides issues related to Police would be resolved on priority. The participants were stressed to cooperate with Police in maintaining law and order in the areas and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who try to disrupt the peaceful environment.
