Srinagar : Police in Bandipora under the aegis of Civic Action Programme of J&K Police on Wednesday organised a mega free Medical Health Camp at DPL Bandipora for police personnel in which renowned doctors from the health department were available for free consultations.
The camp was organized to provide basic as well as specialist health care services along with laboratory investigation and free drugs to the serving and Retired police personnel of the district.
The camp was inaugurated by SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh Mehta. Addl. SP Bandipora and DySP Hqrs Bandipora and other officers of Police were also present on the occasion.
Besides, the SSP Bandipora in his address laid stress on importance of physical and mental fitness for policemen having stressful serving conditions to enhance their productivity and maintaining a serving attitude towards the public.
During the medical Camp representatives of the health Department apprised the police personnel about the services being provided by the health department under various schemes/programmes which anybody can take benefit. They also apprised about importance of hygiene and other various preventive health care measures in person’s life. At the end of the camp the officers presented mementos of appreciation to participating doctors.
