Srinagar: Police in Baramulla, under the supervision of SDPO Pattan Shahjahan Choudhary on Saturday organized a Drug De-addiction Awareness Program at Govt Higher Secondary School Goshbugh. The event aimed to educate students about various social evils prevailing in society, especially the harmful effects of drug abuse.
Prominent speakers at the event including SHO Police Station Pattan, Principal GHSS Goshbugh, Gh Nabi Bhat, Sh Mohd Ashraf and Ms. Uzma Qureshi of PDDC Baramulla. They addressed the gathering and highlighted the ill effects of drugs and the importance of responsible citizenship. They urged students to remain vigilant and play an active role in spreading awareness about the menace of drug abuse within their communities.
Meanwhile police in a statement issued here on Saturday reiterated its committment to its mission of eradicating drug addiction and safeguarding the future of young people through continuous awareness campaigns.
