Shopian : Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women, (SHEW) Shopian on Friday organized an awareness programme at AWC Mugmarg, Zainapora Shopian.
The event was aimed at educating women about various welfare schemes, helpline numbers and other initiatives of women upliftment available in the district.
Officials provided detailed insights into a range of welfare initiatives, including those focused on women’s education, skill development, financial independence, health, and entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the event, officials from Sankalp Hub emphasized the importance of empowering women with knowledge and resources.
Participants were also encouraged to engage with ongoing skill development programmes and entrepreneurial ventures supported by various departments in the district.
