Samba: A rigorous market inspection drive was conducted Saturday by the Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs) across the markets of the district. The drive was conducted on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma and under the overall supervision of Assistant Director, FCS&CA Rahul Gupta.
The drive aimed to curb adulteration, prevent arbitrary price hikes, and ensure the sale of quality consumables in the interest of public welfare. The inspection was carried out in line with recent instructions to strengthen market surveillance and protect consumers from exploitation.
