Jammu: Jammu Police on Saturday said that they have arrested a bootlegger and also recovered 50 quarters of illicit liquor in the jurisdiction of Police Post (PP) Gajansoo.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office, Jammu Police said that a team from Police Post Gajansoo apprehended Jai Singh, S/O Bagh Singh, resident of Paryal, Tehsil Marh, and also recovered 50 quarters of JK Desi Whisky (each 180ml) from his possession. A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Kanachak, and further investigation is underway.
