Jammu : Students of Government College for Women Parade Ground Jammu under the aegis of Student Welfare Cell of the College Wednesday organized a special event to mark the importance of Ramadan and celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr in advance on 26th March 2025.
The event started with a formal welcome address by Dean Student Welfare Cell of the College, Dr. Rajesh Kant.
Students from different semesters presented their views articulately on the importance of Ramadan, beautiful Naats and Hamads were also recited by the students. The event was made more fun by the Adbi Mushaira themed as Mehfil-e-jashn-e-Eid, in which talented students presented their beautiful shayaris.
Principal of the College Dr. Ravinder Kumar Tickoo was the chief guest of the event, congratulated all the staff members and students for organising such a relevant and marvelous programme and emphasized upon the importance of the Ramadan month and wished a Happy and Mubarak EID to all in advance. He appreciated the Students Welfare Committee for organising such events which promote mutual understanding and communal harmony among the students.
