In Srinagar, protests were held by the activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) in Maisuma locality located in the commercial hub of Lal Chowk.

The protesters were carrying placards and banners seeking revocation of US decision and intervention of the international community.

In Hasanabad locality of Srinagar, a huge rally was taken out against the US decision.

The protesters set to fire the effigy of the US president Donald Trump and shouted slogans like ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel’.

Protests were also held in south and north Kashmir with people taking out marches and raising slogans against the US and Israel.

Jerusalem is a disputed territory between Israel and Palestine and claimed by both the States as their future capital. It is also the holiest site of three Abrahamic religions -Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
