According to an order issued by Jammu & Kashmir Government the committee will be chaired by the Chief Secretary and will include senior officials from the Finance, Planning, Law, and General Administration Departments.
“The panel is mandated to examine the humanitarian, legal, and financial aspects of worker regularization and propose a comprehensive framework for implementation,” the order states.
“The committee will consist of Chief Secretary, Chairman, Additional Chief Secretary, Member, Administrative Secretary, Finance Department Member, Administrative Secretary, General Administration Department Member, Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department Member, Administrative Secretary, Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Member,” it states.
“The General Administration Department (GAD) will provide secretarial support, and the committee is expected to submit its report within six months.
