G’bal : Raina Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, popularly known as ‘Kohinoor,’ a talented Kashmiri mimicry artiste, has secured the top position in the Rising Legends Talent Hunt Championship 2025. This prestigious online competition featured participants from across the globe, showcasing their exceptional skills.
Hailing from Wussan, Kangan in Ganderbal district, Raina has garnered recognition for his remarkable ability to mimic an impressive range of sounds, exceeding 1,400. His repertoire includes insects, animals, musical instruments, and mechanical noises.
Raina’s journey began in the third grade when he discovered his talent for replicating animal sounds. Encouraged by positive feedback, he honed his skills over the years, leading to this significant achievement.
This accomplishment is not Raina’s first recognition. He has already earned a place in the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records in 2019. His talents have been showcased on television shows like Kisme Kitna Hai Dum and at the esteemed Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia.
Raina expressed his elation at securing the top position, stating, “I am thrilled to have competed alongside talented artists from across the world and emerged victorious.” This achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, solidifying his position as a talented mimicry artiste.
