Janipur Police Recover Stolen Wagon R, Intensify Crackdown on Vehicle Theft

Jammu : Police in Jammu on Sunday said that Janipur Police have successfully recovered a stolen Wagon R car, registered as JK02AB 4464, which was stolen from Bhawani Nagar on February 27, 2025.
In a statement issued from the District Police Office, Jammu Police said that the vehicle was located after a thorough investigation and diligent efforts by the police team, adding therein that a First Information Report (FIR) under FIR No. 33/2025 was registered at the Janipur Police Station, and a detailed investigation was launched to track down the stolen vehicle.
Claiming that successful recovery highlights the tireless work of the Janipur Police in combating vehicle theft and ensuring the safety of the community, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement appealed people to stay alert and report any suspicious activities related to vehicle theft. Police in its statement also appealed to share with it any information that could help it arrest those involved in vehicle theft activities.
