Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat: IASE faculty collaborate with IITE Gujarat for E-Content development in regional languages

Srinagar: In a significant initiative aimed at promoting and preserving the Kashmiri language, a distinguished team of subject experts from Government College of Education (IASE) Srinagar and language experts have been actively engaged in developing high-quality e-content on Teacher Education.
This initiative is being undertaken under the aegis of the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, with the coordinator-ship of Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz, Principal, IASE, Srinagar.
The team of subject experts include from Government College of Education (IASE) Srinagar, Dr. Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Dr. Tawheeda Rasool, Dr. Showkeen Bilal, Dr. Mudasir Hamid, Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Dar, and language experts Dr. M Hussain, Dr. Sumi Ullah and Dr. Saahil Abbas from GDC Magam, GDC Tral, and GDC Dangiwacha.
This pioneering project seeks to enhance digital learning resources for Kashmiri language education, aligning with the broader vision of integrating regional languages into contemporary educational frameworks.
IITE, Ghandinagar, Gujarat known for its commitment to fostering multilingual education, has taken the lead in enriching digital repositories for indigenous languages. The team of Kashmiri scholars and educators is meticulously working on creating e-content that will serve as a valuable resource for students, educators, and language enthusiasts.
This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which highlights the importance of promoting regional languages and integrating technology into education. The e-content developed through this project is expected to benefit a diverse audience, including school and college students, researchers, and Kashmiri language enthusiasts worldwide.
The e-content will soon be made available on digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for learners from varied backgrounds. The successful execution of this initiative marks a significant milestone in the digitization and preservation of Kashmiri linguistic heritage.
