Kathua: District Magistrate Kathua Wednesday imposed ban on transportation of bovine from the district. “District Magistrate, in exercise of the powers vested in him under Section 144 CrPC, has imposed ban on transportation of bovine animals such as Cow, Oxen, Bulls, Calves etc from the district” a district administration spokesperson said.
He said ‘bovine animals cannot be transported from Kathua to other districts without written permission of District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate, Kathua. The order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months from the date of its issuance till the same is rescinded, whichever is earlier.
