7-day Volleyball Tournament hosted by Range Police Headquarters concludes at DPL Rajouri

Rajouri : The 7-day Volleyball Tournament hosted by Range Police Headquarters Rajouri under Civic Action Program concluded on Tuesday here at District police Lines with Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club Poonch emerging as winner of the final match.
The initiative aimed to strengthen Police and public relationship, commenced on Feb 18, 2025 attracting teams from twin border Districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
The final match was on Tuesday played between Choudhary Club Rajouri and Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club Poonch where later emerged victorious.
The closing ceremony was attended by DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Tejinder Singh; Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Sikarwar, Rajouri and other civil and police officers.
The Officers commended the players for their dedication and perseverance and highlighted the significance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork and a healthy competitive spirit.
The event concluded with the distribution of trophies/Medals and cash prizes to the winner and runner up teams along with words of appreciation to all participating teams and officials who contributed towards the success of the tournament.
