Omar Abdullah lead party functionaries in offering tributes to Sheikh Nazir

Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday led the party functionaries in offering Fatiha and floral tributes at the Mazar-e-Anwar of Sheikh Nazir Ahmad at Malik Sahib Shrine (RA) graveyard in Soura.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, the occasion was attended by several senior party leaders, including Party General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar, Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, Cabinet Minister Javed Dar, Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, Provincial President Showkat Mir, MLA Chadoora Ali Mohammad Dar, YNC Provincial President Kashmir and MLA Hazratbal Salman Ali Sagar, MLA Chanapora Mushtaq Guroo, MLA Pattan Riyaz Bedar, Political Advisor to Omar Abdullah Mudassar Shahmiri and State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar.
Additionally, Constituency Incharge Shopian Sheikh Mohammad Rafi, District President Srinagar Peer Afaq Ahmad, District President Budgam Ghulam Nabi Bhat, District President Pulwama Mohammad Khalil Bandh, District President Baramulla Advocate Shahid Ali, and other senior party functionaries were present at the event.
The event organized by MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, witnessed leaders and party workers from across kashmir remembering Sheikh Nazir Ahmad Sahib’s invaluable contributions to the party and his unwavering dedication to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Similar commemorative functions were held across all party district headquarters in Kashmir, and Jammu provinces.
At the provincial headquarters Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan in Jammu Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah led the party functionaries in offering floral tributes to party the stalwart. Among others Dy CM Surinder Choudhary was present on the occasion.
At the party’s central headquarters Nawa-e-Subha Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar led the party functionaries in offering floral tributes to the veteran leader. Provincial President Kashmir Showkat Mir, media, social media, YNC, women’s and minority wing leaders were present on the occasion.
