Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial Vice President and MLA Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi, visited Gujar Basti Khanmouh, where he was warmly welcomed by the residents.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, this marked the first time a legislator had visited the area. “I made a solemn promise to the people of Gujar Basti that I would listen to their concerns and work towards transformative progress. Today, I am here to fulfill that pledge,” said Pardesi.
He was accompanied by party functionaries from the Lal Chowk constituency.
Later in the day, he inaugurated bus services to areas including Zewan, Zawoora, Zaffron Colony, and Balhama in Khanmouh.
The locals have praised Pardesi for providing essential bus services, which will greatly benefit the locals.
During the event, the MLA Lal Chowk said that the bus services will significantly alleviate the commuting challenges faced by the people.
